About Jenny
I'm so glad you're here. My passion is supporting people to improve their relationship with themselves, their emotions, and the people that matter most to them. My eclectic style combines traditional cognitive or "talk therapy" with a holistic approach emphasizing mind-body connection.
My Story
My passion for inner-healing and growth come from both my expertise and specialized training, as well as my own human experience with pain and resilience. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has created therapeutic space for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and caregivers across multiple settings.
Over the years, I've helped people seeking support around a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, major life transitions, relational and familial discord, abuse and trauma, parenting, self-esteem, and anger management. I earned my Master's in Social Work (MSW) from The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and my BA from The University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I've received advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a specialized intervention for processing acute and complex trauma.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I was an elementary education teacher and have a special place in my heart for educators and caretakers of all kinds. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones, including my puggle mix, Cebu.
